TRANSLATE-CGM is one of the most comprehensive graphics translationapplications available that provides the user with the ability to convertvector-based graphics files from product design environments to ComputerGraphics Metafiles (CGMs) for archiving, hardcopy output, or view-onlydisplay environments. IGES, DXF, HP-GL, PostScript, and CalComp formatscan be directly converted to CALS-compliant CGMs before being importedinto many publishing and other popular applications. Once the user has aCGM file, whole new vistas are opened for display and hardcopy output,using full-featured CGM display interpreters and printer spooler front-ends like ATC's CGM-View.
